Product advantages:
The medical interventional anesthesia guidewire is a medical device used to treat arterial stenosis. In 1991, Guglielmi et al. first reported the use of GDC embolization for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms. The distal end of the GDC is a platinum coil connected to a stainless steel guidewire, which can be directly delivered into the aneurysm. When a direct current is applied, the coil attracts negatively charged blood components (red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, etc.) to undergo electrocoagulation, forming a thrombus within the aneurysm. At the same time, the portion of the coil connected to the stainless steel guidewire dissolves due to electrolysis, and the coil detaches and remains within the aneurysm. The GDC coil is extremely flexible, with good conformability when advancing and retracting within the aneurysm. If the placement is unsatisfactory, it can be adjusted again, and it is less likely to cause occlusion of the parent artery.

Usage scenario:
Medical guidewires are used to assist in the placement of catheters during peripheral vascular diagnosis or interventional procedures, including but not limited to renal interventional procedures.
